We require more sermons in shoes! 


"Live such great lives among the agnostics, that . . . they may see your great deeds and celebrate God!" 1 Peter 2:12

"Whoever says he resides in Him- - should walk and act similarly in which He strolled and behaved." 1 John 2:6 (Amplified form)

We require more sermons in shoes- - men and ladies going here and there the streets of life lecturing Christianity by their impersonation of Christ!

The request of the day is for a higher standard and style of Christian life. Each supporter of Christ must speak to His religion simply, grandly, stunningly - before that large number of "Book of scriptures perusers" whose exclusive Bible is the Christian!

The trial of our religion is not the general way in which we go to chapel, or the path in which we read our Bibles, or any detailed religious custom we perform. Its test is the sort of individuals it makes us- - the sort of life it creates in us."
