What shall I do to inherit heaven?

What shall I do to inherit eternal life?
And behold, a lawyer stood up to put Jesus Christ to the test, saying, “Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” He said to him, “what is written in the Law? How do you read it? And he answered, “You shall love the God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.” And he said to him, “you have answered correctly; do this, and you will live – Luke 10: 25- 28.”
Like this lawyer, we all have desire to get the eternal life. Seemingly we acknowledge the way too. Our answers are almost right. We almost walk on it. But we forget that less than the whole is not whole. We must master over the whole. In another word, partial truth is no truth. Therefore, we unable to get the life we desire. And our living on earth is not up to the mark, which is set before the world. Then how do we get the eternal life?
It is because we are dead in the trespasses and sins. We are following the course of this world. We are following the prince of the power of the air (Satan). We are the sons of disobedience. His spirit is working in us. We all live in the passion of our flesh. We carry out the desires of the body and the mind. We are by nature children of wrath. Therefore, this life is not pleasing to God. It counts nothing before Him. It is the absurd one.
God’s Bitter Providence
Some believe that the physical existence is beguiling an illusion. Some believe that the universe is real. Some opine that this world is neither a hallucination nor the ultimate reality but it relatively real. But we believe that every phenomenon in the nature insinuates His existence - The existence of the God. The mysteries after mysteries after mysteries. The universe is wrapped up in can never be divulged. The baffling expansion of the universe comprising infinite galaxies, the unending natural panorama, the number colors and varieties of the creatures all are beyond our perception. The science may reach its last peak but it can never create any living being of his imagination or of his will. The complexity of the creatures’ creation their functions and the rhythmic regularity, propensities all are beyond the access of human mind. How can the tiny mind of a man which fells to make simple calculation of mathematical and scientific calculation, conceive the enormity of the divine mysteries?
Our bodies are definitely like balalaikas in which every volt and spring have been set with a miraculous skill was your inhalations or exhalations from where your breath come and where does it go? Do you have control over it? Now your exhale, within a Nano second you may fell to get your breath back. Who does provide milk of the mother just after the birth of the baby? Is it not a divine providence?  Your heart beat is rhythmic your blood circulation is rhythmic. Your breathing is rhythmic. A divine music is going on in the balalaikas of your body. Now wonderful is the rhythmic music of sun-rise, sunset and sunrise again. The seasons move in a rhythm, which is their set order. This unfailing system of the universal nature successfully presents the strong evidence of the creator, monitor, programmer and supervisor. Hence the skeptic mind unbelieving the existence of God is like the brain of well's frog, which denies the existence of the vaster space.
Faith is the First Step
The first step to live with God is to have indomitable faith in His existence. Religion starts with faith. It is almost like believing a geography book which presents details of any unseen city of the world but once you believe in the situation of that particular city. You need a teacher, a map to know the root. Your seers provide us with the road maps of the scriptures along with experiences of enlightened soul. It is up to the willful description of the travelers whether he/she yearns to reach the destination or not. To live with God means to start the journey right now with adamant faith carrying proper compass. But it is not as easy as it sounds to be. Journey is very hard because of our misleading propensities to be more categorical we can see these four basic misleading propensities.
1.     Leading us from pain to pain
2.     Leading us from pleasure to pain
3.     Leading us from pain to pleasure
4.     Leading us from pleasure to pleasure

1.     Leading from pain to pain: Suppose you consume a lot of bitter alcohol in the night. It was painful at the time of consuming. The consequences – headache, dysentery, liver cirrhosis etc. – are also painful. Chewing chilly is burning and the result is the pain in the toilet. Diarrhea next morning is also painful.
2.     Leading from pleasure to pain: suppose we catch a train without buying tickets and comfortably sit in a first class compartment. It is a pleasure but the moment ticket checker comes and orders to arrest us. The pleasure turns into pain in a jiffy.
3.     Leading us from pain to pleasure: A political leader when moves from door to door during elections, his toils are painful but after winning the election the holding the chair of a minister is pleasant. The craze for worldly possession is falls under the propensities mentioned above.
4.     Leading us from pleasure to pleasure: The final propensity which leads a man from pleasure to pleasure is the urge to follow the path of righteousness. It is a pleasure to walk along the path of divinity and the consequence – to be blessed with having a blissful place in the heavens – is unimaginably exoteric. It’s an eternal fact that the quest of happiness by trying to quench the thirst of our sense organs, whereas the thirst is unquenchable. The more you drink the thirstier you are. Such is the nature of our sensuous organs.
As mentioned somewhere above even the birds cannot soar higher in the firmament without having proper atmosphere. The black trap of the Satan, the embodiment of sins is so dangerous that anybody can easily be entrapped.
No any religion can recommend to live in voluptuously polluted climate. The climate which can stimulate your sensuousness/sensuality or instigate you to commit a crime of any kind is a devastating domain of Satan. It can take us away from the God to the world of sins. The ways slippery and a little inattentiveness can make us fall into the abyss of turbulent vices. It is not a recommendable to be indulged in verbal attacks or counter attacks about a religion. It is wise to smile away the arguments of uninquisitive nincompoops whose thoughts are impossible to be changed. It can save your time and energy. These impious siblings of satanic force can snatch your god from you. The flickering light faith can easily be extinguished by the storm of worldly lusts. To save our faith in the God, thus, we need divine help and assistance.
Love, Love, Love
This world is loveless. There is no love in us. If something is not with us then how can we give others, when they are in need of something? But the first demand from this loveless world is “To Love”. Thus, the Law teaches the world to love the Lord, the Creator of the universe and remember Him in the days of your youth. But the world teaches that we can be religious at old age. It is not good to talk about God, holiness and humility in our youth. It is a ridiculous for a young man to engage in the relationship with the God and to spend the life in His fellowship. This philosophy is contrary to the Law.
The Law is the embodiment of knowledge and truth. It teaches us to do this or that. It is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law who will be justified. If we are not able to do this then we are lawless. The law, therefore, brings wrath but where there is no law there is no sin.
They, who do say, has not law, by nature do what the law requires, they are a law to themselves, even though they are a law to themselves, even though they do not have the law. They show that the work of the law is written on their hearts, while their conscience also bears witness, and their conflicting thought accuse or even excuse them.
It happened because we are not connected with the Lord, who is the Love. He has power to put His love in our heart, so we can love Him and our neighbors/the fellow man. Why do we love the Lord first? We may love or fear the LORD by keeping all his statutes and his commandments in all the days of our lives, which will help us to live long and well. We will get His blessing to live a good life on earth. We have to keep them in our hearts and to practice every day, so we will be able to teach our children. Also it teaches us that the LORD is a jealous God – lest the anger of the LORD your God be kindled against us. And He destroy us from off the face of the earth. In other word, we must praise God. Otherwise, He will blotted out us from the world.
Why do we love our neighbor as ourselves?
It is the command of the Lord, so we have to obey it. Also we can fulfill the law through love. It is said that owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law. For the commandments, “you shall not commit adultery, you shall not murder, you shall not steal, you shall not covet and any other commandment, are summed up in this word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”  Love does no wrong to a neighbor, therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. Beside this we know the time that the hour has come for us to wake from sleep. Let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly as in the daytime. Do not make provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.
Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the God is not in him. For all that is in the world – the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in the possessions – is not from the God but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.
The darkness is passing away and the true light is already shining. Whoever says he is in the light and hates God and his brother is still in the darkness. Whoever loves God and his brother abides in the light, and in him there is no cause of stumbling. But whoever hates God and his brother is in the darkness, and does not know where he is going because the darkness has blinded his eyes. Therefore, the end of all things is at hand. Be self-controlled and sober-minded for your own sake. Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins. As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.
Also keep this fact in our minds and hearts. If we are not loving one another. It is not the problem to God but its result will return on our own heads. But still God is sovereign to control everything. God takes great care to comfort His people in their many trials and sorrows in this world. One of the goals which He commands His preachers, teachers, rulers and philosophers etc. to have, is the comfort of his people because He is the God of all comfort. He comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
Are we loving one another? Are we comforting one another?
This universe is His lovely creation. We all are His offspring. To love God or to live with Him simply means to love His creations and to render every possible service to for the betterment of them. The very justification of your existence assigned to you by Him is to liberate this universe from all kinds of agonies – physical, natural, social-political, economic, religio-cultural etc.
The new religion must not try to prove any particular place, person, religion, philosophy, economy, community, caste, sex, relationship superior to other one. It must try to sprout/germinate the innate love for one another in the universe by the Grace of God. We advocate reconciliation and harmony. We advocate the value of life, liberty, peace and bliss. The people living with God can never be antagonistic to his neighbor. In other word, one man cannot destroy another man.
"We are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them." Since God has ordained that His people walk in good works, we are assured that God will graciously cause them to do so by the sweet constraint of His grace. Grace experienced, makes us gracious. Mercy tasted, makes us merciful. Faith bestowed, makes us faithful. Kindness known, makes us kind. Forgiveness enjoyed, makes us forgiving.
Love felt, makes us loving.
These are not suggestions about what God's people ought to be, but statements of fact about what all true we are. We are a people who, being saved by grace, ruled by love, and motivated by gratitude--seek the will and glory of God in all things. "For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age"
Therefore, if you are not able to build the world of others then please don’t tear it down too. So everyone must work to provide the pleasure in the midst of painful world by loving one another. But the ultimate solution of the problems is God only.
Finally, our only rule of faith and practice is the Truth. We have no creed to defend, no denomination to maintain, and no confession to bind our minds. "What does the Truth teach?" That is and must be our only concern. If the plain teachings of Truth appear to destroy or contradict our understanding of any doctrine--then let us relinquish the doctrine, or acknowledge the fact that our minds are both depraved and minuscule--and bow to the revelation of God. Finally, brothers and Sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. Therefore, Truth is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
HEAVEN! The Only Cherish Destination
HEAVEN! What is it? It is God's residence. It is the Savior's home. It is our Father's house. It is a paradise of pleasure. It is a temple of worship, and it is the residence of perfect purity and peace! God unveils His glory there. The Savior exhibits His charms there. The angels perform their service there, and the saints are entirely happy with their God there.
In Heaven, sin is banished. In Heaven holiness is perfected. In Heaven life is a continual feast, and in Heaven mortality is swallowed up in life! From Heaven, all pain is banished. From Heaven all enemies are excluded, and From Heaven, all causes of sorrow are shut out!
In Heaven, all our prayers are answered. In Heaven, all our desires are gratified, and in Heaven, all ourneeds are supplied. In Heaven, There is no weeping, wailing, or wishing there. In Heaven, our knowledgewill be perfect. In Heaven, our happiness will be abiding. In Heaven, our pleasures will be ever new. In Heaven, we shall see Jesus. In Heaven, we shall be with Jesus, and in Heaven, we shall be like Jesus, forever!
HEAVEN! Who are there? All tried and tempted followers of Jesus are there.
All doubting and fearing disciples of Jesus are there. All poor and despised believers are there. Multitudes, who felt totally unworthy of such glory, and feared they would never reach the place--are there. All who were chosen by the Father, all who were redeemed by the Son, and all who were sanctified by the Holy Spirit--are there.
HEAVEN! What do they enjoy there? Who can answer this question--but one who has been there; and he would need a new language to state, and new figures to represent the enjoyments of Heaven. They enjoyrest from their pains--and a full supply of all their needs. They enjoy perfect satisfaction, a fullness of joy, and pleasure forevermore. They see all that they believed, realize all that they hoped for, and possess all that they loved. They have health--without sickness;
They have pleasure without pain; and they have holiness without sin.  Every sense is gratified, every poweris pleasurably employed--and they are perfectly and perpetually happy!
O Heaven, in you there is no tempting devil. There is no ensnaring world. There is no indwelling corruption. There is no doubts, fears, or misgivings! And best of all, there is no sin! O Heaven, in you I shall see my God, possess my Savior, and enjoy the fullness of the Holy Spirit! O my God, in Heaven I shall be satisfied--for I shall be with You, serving and enjoying You without weariness or cessation!
HEAVEN! Who will yet get to Heaven? Who? Ah, perhaps many we little think of! We shall miss many whom we expected to find there--and find many whom we never expected would reach that glorious place!
Who will go to Heaven? That poor man who is striving against sin, mourning over corruption, and loathing himself before God. That poor woman, who sighs because she sins, pants for perfect holiness, and clings to the cross of Jesus. Do you see that poor soul on his knees, confessing his transgressions, pleading for pardon, and seeking grace to sanctify his nature--he will go to Heaven? Do you see that lowly Christian, who is visiting the sick, pointing sufferers to the cross, and trying to alleviate human woe, out of love to Jesus--he will go to Heaven? Do you see that Sunday school teacher, who, after a hard week's work, is regularly in his class, speaking loving words, in tender tones, to win the little ones for the Savior--he will go to Heaven? Do you see that preacher who exalts Christ in his ministry, honors the gospel in his life, and travails in birth for souls--he will go to Heaven.
Heaven will be peopled by all who believe in Jesus, love the brethren, and worship God in Spirit and in truth. There will be a numberless multitude there--all deeply indebted to free mercy, washed in the Savior's blood, and sanctified by the Spirit's grace!
Reader, there is a way--but only one way to Heaven! Only those found in that way will ever reach it! You yourself, may be within an hour or two of either Heaven or Hell--do you know which? If called away suddenly--to which would you go? You have a Heaven to obtain, or a Hell to endure--to all eternity! Which shall it be? O that you were wise, that you properly realized this, which you would consider your latter end!
Heaven with all its glories--or Hell with all its horrors--must be your eternal portion! If you despise the Savior, make light of the Gospel, and neglect God's great salvation--then Hell, an eternal Hell, with all its unspeakable horrors--is your portion!
"No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined--what God has prepared for those who love Him!" 1 Corinthians 2:9
